🟢 1. Easy Soap Making (Melt & Pour Method)
🧾 Materials Needed:
- Soap base (available in the market)
- Coconut oil or olive oil (optional)
- Essential oil (for fragrance)
- Color (optional)
- Soap mould
👉 This method is safe because it does not require lye.
🪄 Steps:
- Cut the soap base into small pieces
- Melt it using a microwave or double boiler
- Add essential oil and color
- Mix well
- Pour into moulds
- Let it cool for 2–3 hours
- Your soap is ready 👍
🔵 2. Natural Soap (Advanced Method – Lye Process)
🧾 Materials:
- Coconut oil
- Olive oil
- Lye (Sodium Hydroxide)
- Water
- Essential oil
👉 Soap is formed through a chemical reaction called Saponification.
⚠️ Steps (Short):
- Slowly add lye to water (never the reverse)
- Heat the oils
- Mix lye solution with oils
- Stir until thick (trace stage)
- Pour into mould
- Leave for 24 hours
- Cut and cure for 3–4 weeks
